Don Catlin MD/ Scientific Advisor

For more than a quarter of a century, Dr. Don Catlin has been at the forefront of the global battle against the use of performance enhancing drugs.  Don H. Catlin, M.D. attended Yale University and received his M.D. from the University of Rochester.  His professional interests are clinical pharmacology, sport drug testing, and endocrinology.  He founded and directed for 25 years the largest sport testing laboratory in the world – UCLA Olympic Analytical Laboratory.

The laboratory performed the testing for the Olympic Games in Los Angeles, Atlanta, and Salt Lake City.  Clients of the lab include the US Olympic Committee the NCAA, the NFL, Minor League Baseball and many more.  He is a member of the Medical Commission of the International Olympic Committee. Dr. Catlin also serves as Professor Emeritus of Molecular and Medical Pharmacology at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine and has published more than 100 research articles including the discovery of the first designer steroid – tetrahydro-gestrinone (THG), detection of erythropoietin and breakthroughs in the detection of testosterone and other endogenous steroids.
