Sharon is a graduate of The Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology with a Doctoral degree in Psychology. One of the populations of clients she works with are men and women trying to get into recovery from drugs and alcohol or stay in recovery. Her theoretical orientation is cognitive/behavioral. This orientation stresses intervention in thoughts and behaviors to re-frame the client’s belief systems. It enables them to go from irrational thinking to more rational thinking and then more rational coping strategies.
Sharon is a member of The American Psychological Association, The New Jersey Psychological Association; Monmouth County Psychological Association and The Association of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapists.
